CompostFit sits right inside your trash bin inside your pull-out cabinet. Sweep your trash bag underneath the rim of CompostFit — giving you a dedicated compost partition without any extra bags or accessories.
Its wide opening and full-depth design means paper plates of all sizes, napkins, and food scraps all fit easily.
When it's time to empty, pull up on the rim of the CompostFit, lifting straight out, and dump it into your green bin or outdoor compost. Reinsert your CompostFit for another round of composting or separate the two telescoping pieces and put them in the dishwasher for a wash.

STEP 02
Set it in your trash bin.
Lower CompostFit into your empty trash bin so the rim rests on the edge. The bag goes in next.
STEP 03
Tuck your bag under the rim.
Put your trash bag in the bin. Lift the rim, pull the edge of the bag underneath, and let the rim back down. The teeth grip the bag and hold it in place.
STEP 04
Lift out to empty.
Lift straight up by the rim and dump it into your green bin or compost pile.
STEP 05
Dishwasher safe.
To take it apart, set it on the counter and press down on the rim until the bins unlock. Pull them apart and put both in the dishwasher.

Yes. That's the whole point. The opening is wide enough for all sizes of paper plates laid flat. The full-depth design means bulky items don't jam at the top.

To check your trash bin, remove the bin from your pull-out cabinet and take a look at the bottom. It's that easy! If you've got a Rev-A-Shelf RV-35 or RV-50, CompostFit was made for you and will fit perfectly! If you have a pull-out trash bin built into your cabinet that slides out on a track there's a good chance it's one of these. CompostFit takes up about 1/3 of the bin space leaving the remaining space for your trash and you'll find as you start composting that you'll use less of the trash space!
